What makes Heartstrings Paper and Press different from the other invitation studios?
As any bride who has done an online search for invitations knows, there are thousands of choices out there that offer a custom product, often times custom to them means printing your name and date on a pre-designed, and probably already used by hundreds of other brides. At Heartstrings Paper and Press we custom design an invitation suite for each bride so each bride has their own unique design!
What is your price range for custom work?
Prices vary dependent upon the vision of the client and the level of design, printing process and paper choice, Prices per piece can range anywhere from $1 to $20+. We can work with any budget!
What is your payment process?
We first like to meet and have a consultation (completely free), where we will discuss all your ideas and all the details. After our consolation you will receive a detailed proposal outlining the timeline and costs. After you accept the proposal we require a non refundable deposit of 50% of the final price, this enables us to begin the design process as well as order any paper we may need to complete your project. The remainder is due upon delivery or prior to shipment.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit on all proposals, this enables us to order paper and other supplies.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept cash and checks.
How do I send my guest list?
Please supply me with your guest/invitation list, in an Excel spreadsheet, exactly as you would like it to show up on the front of the envelopes or boxes. Including:
First & Last Name (Miss Elizabeth Lee)
Address 1 (10137 South Main Street )
Address 2 (Apartment 2B)
City, State
Zip Code
Be sure to spell out all of the words within your addresses, such as streets, avenues, boulevards, and states.
Should I order extra invitations?
Yes, we recommend that you order 10-20+ of invitations 5-10 of everything else, so that there are extras for forgotten/last minute guests, keepsakes .
Can I have additional design time?
For each piece being designed you receive 2 revisions/corrections Any additional design revisions will incur a charge of $65.00/hour, with an hour minimum.
How does the process work and how long does it usually take?
After we have received a signed proposal/contract and the 50% deposit we will have a proof to you in 5-10 business days. We will make corrections within 3 business days. Printing and assembly can take 2-4 weeks.
Upon approval of the proposal, signing of the contract and receipt of the 50% non-refundable deposit we will begin the initial design process, this takes 2-5 business days.
Do you accept rush orders?
Yes, We understand that there may be times that you need your invitations sooner and we will work with you to get them in a timely fashion. Please let us know if you are under extreme time constraints so that we can design and print your invitations in such a way that they can be mailed on time!
Do you deliver/ship?
If you live/work in Missoula, MT or the surrounding area we would be happy to deliver them in person or meet you somewhere. If you live outside Missoula we will carefully package and ship them via FedEx.
Do you have a contract?
Yes, we have found that having contracts is the best way for both parties to be protected, we also have a strict approval process throughout the project.
